System Actors & Personas

Document Purpose: This document defines the primary actors (personas) who interact with the Cazo platform. It serves as the "Source of Truth" for all Use Case definitions, ensuring every feature is mapped to a specific human need.

1. Primary Actors (The Humans)

1.1 The Salon Owner ("The Buyer")

  • Role: Maximizing profitability and minimizing chaos.
  • Key Goals:
    • Stop theft/pilferage of inventory.
    • Retain top stylists (prevent them from stealing clients).
    • Increase "Average Ticket Value" per customer.
  • Primary Modules: 04-Owner-Dashboard, 06-Analytics, 09-OPS.

1.2 The Front Desk Manager ("The Operator")

  • Role: Managing the flow of the salon floor.
  • Key Goals:
    • Speed: Check-in/Check-out under 30 seconds.
    • Accuracy: No double-bookings or scheduling conflicts.
    • Clienteling: Knowing a VIP walked in before they say their name.
  • Primary Modules: 03-Front-Desk, 12-Finance-Inventory.

1.3 The Stylist ("The Talent")

  • Role: Delivering the service.
  • Key Goals:
    • Fairness: Transparent commission calculation.
    • Focus: "Don't make me use a computer, I have color on my hands."
    • Tips: Easy digital tipping flow.
  • Primary Modules: 03-Front-Desk (Mobile View), 11-WhatsApp-Bot.

1.4 The Customer ("The End User")

  • Role: Booking and paying for services.
  • Key Goals:
    • Convenience: Booking at 11 PM via WhatsApp.
    • Trust: Consistent pricing and service history.
  • Primary Modules: 02-Customer-Interface, 11-WhatsApp-Bot.

2. System Actors (The Machines)

2.1 The System Admin ("Super User")

  • Role: Provisioning and support.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Onboarding new Tenants (Salons).
    • Configuring Global Feature Flags.
  • Primary Modules: 01-Core-Platform, 13-Cloud-Infra.

2.2 The AI Agent ("Cazo Bot")

  • Role: Automated assistant.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Handling booking intent via NLP.
    • Sending Nudge notifications.
  • Primary Modules: 05-AI-ML-Overview, 11-WhatsApp-Bot.
